A special day

Hello all!

Yesterday I had the pleasure to go along and work a very special occasion for a few friends of mine. My friend's Josh and Jojo were the first people I had ever met in the town of North Andover when I moved here a few years ago and I have become great friends with them since then. I have been with them through the years and witnessed some amazing moments in their lives. As a photographer it is an amazing feeling to be able to capture moments such as a baby's first halloween holiday or the first picture of an engaged couple. I was lucky enough to be the one to capture all these moments for Josh and Jojo and yesterday I finally got to be there for the most important day of all: the wedding! Whether it was helping Jojo get in her wedding dress or taking pictures at the wonderful reception I was very pleased to have the chance to photograph their wedding. I have posted a few sneak peak shots below and I cant wait to show you guys the rest! Have a great time on your trip and hope to see you soon

"New Equipment"

Hey
Hopefully with the addition of this new "business equipment" here it will get me to post and give updates more often. I've seen other people including photographers post from their iphone all the time and I have always thought it was a cool thing to be able to post on the go. Now I am finally doing it! Totally worth the 2 hour wait in line at the Apple store by the way! stay tuned :)

On It's Way

Hey Everyone,

I know I say it all the time that there will be updates to come and such but this time I want to give you all an update on what's going on. The photography business is really starting to pick up, I have a few friend's weddings booked for this summer and I have agreed to accept some of my peers for senior yearbook portraits this summer. I have been working on some new ideas for package ordering, a new logo and hopefully very soon a complete blog makeover with a business section to keep my clients up to date on what is going on until I get my website up and running. I will also be making some posts soon on recent events such as my friends concert and a pre-wedding party that I shot. I promise it will all be coming soon! Have a great holiday tomorrow and stay tuned for what's to come. Thank you for all your support :)

Hazy, Hot and Humid!

Hey!

Wow.... not sure that it could possibly be any hotter out today but thank god for the great sunlight this afternoon! I got to spend an hour or so with my friends Josh and Jojo down at a garden reservation to take some shots for their wedding invitation. It was a bit warm walking around the gardens and such but totally worth it! I got plenty of pictures for them and they picked this one out that will appear on their wedding invitation going out next week. Congratulations guys!

MAJOR UPDATE!

Hey everyone!
Long time no talk! Anyways I have had a lot going on lately and I figured I wanted to share some more of my life with you :)

To start off I wanted to congratulate my Dad Scott for graduating from Boston College with his Masters degree. We attended the graduation ceremony a few weeks back and the day was great, beautiful weather and a huge milestone was passed for everyone graduating from such a amazing school.

Shortly after my Dad's graduation the following weekend I got to photograph and witness yet another amazing milestone passed. I worked for my cousin Keri at Sweet Whispers Photography, we got the chance to spend the day with Denise and Ed at their beautiful wedding in Groveland, MA.
There is no doubt that the graduation and wedding were both days that brought great joy, this past Friday was most certainly an emotional day that brought sadness, remembrance and nostalgia to our lives. My grandmother has worked at Brookwood School in Manchester, MA for the past 33 years of her life. The school and the people that work there have been a huge part of our family and lives to the point where it has become a seamless boundary. She has brought a lot to the school and the school has given a lot back to her in return. Although it was sad to watch the ceremony and hear all her coworkers talk about how much they will miss my grandmother, it was also somewhat uplifting to know that a huge part of her life has passed, she is ready to move on and live the relaxing life of retirement, much love and congratulations Grammy! I will be posting a link to a slideshow that will be made to a DVD later on.

Well I am very glad I got the chance to give an update to you all on what has been going on, thank you for checking in and please keep in touch. Thanks

Be My Guest...

Hey everyone!

I am glad to see your still checking in despite the serious lack of posts lately but when you look below I think you will know why.
Beauty and the Beast at North Andover High School is officially over and done with. I haven't decided yet whether or not I am more sad or glad about this, it is for sure a big relief but the memories will never be forgotten. We had a truly amazing and talented cast, a devoted pit, a crew who spent more time at the auditorium than at their house and probably the most amazing production staff I will ever work with in my life. I want to send thanks out to our vocal director Chris Lafond, a volunteer graduate of the high school who we couldn't have lived without, Tim Driscoll another volunteer graduate of NAHS who provided sound for the show, our amazing conductor Rob and his partner Ann, our costume team lead by Karen Kramer and last but not least our dedicated, caring Director: Melissa Downey who provided the vision and dream for this breathtaking production. A very special and separate thanks goes out to our Assistant Director Jennifer Gillespie for her constant hard work and dedication while pregnant throughout the rehearsal schedule. Whether or not you look at it as a good or bad thing, Jen was always willing to keep everyone on track, and keep the cast well behaved and disciplined :) I took a few pictures throughout tech week but for the most part pictures were taken using my camera by Tim, Chris and Ms. Downey. I have no idea who took what pictures but here's a few to check out and I thank everyone who came to see the show and if you didn't: heres a little glimpse of what you missed :)
